Privacy Policy

Last updated September 6, 2026. This policy explains what information Chat Misr collects, why we use it, and the choices available to you.

01

Who this policy covers

This Privacy Policy applies to Chat Misr, our website, and our AI workspace (the Service). Chat Misr is responsible for the personal information described here. For privacy questions or requests, contact us at support@chatmisr.com.

02

Information we collect

We collect the information you provide when you create or use an account, including your email address, display name, username, account settings, support messages, and the content you choose to submit to the Service, such as chats and attachments. We also collect service and security information such as IP address, browser and device information, session identifiers, timestamps, and usage, token, and billing records.

03

Sign in with Google

If you choose Sign in with Google, we receive only the basic profile information needed to create and secure your Chat Misr account: your name, email address, profile image, and Google account identifier. We use this information solely to authenticate you, maintain your account, and prevent abuse. We do not request access to your Gmail, Google Drive, Calendar, Contacts, or other Google data unless we clearly ask for it in a separate consent flow.

04

How we use information

We use information to provide and improve the Service; create and secure accounts; process and respond to your requests; maintain conversations and preferences; measure usage and balances; communicate with you; prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents; comply with law; and enforce our Terms. We do not sell personal information or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

05

AI processing and service providers

When you send a prompt, the prompt and relevant conversation context are processed through Cloudflare AI Gateway and the AI provider selected for your request so we can generate a response. We use Cloudflare and other carefully selected providers for hosting, databases, security, email delivery, and AI processing. They may process personal information only to provide services for us, subject to appropriate contractual and security obligations. Gateway request and response payload logging is disabled; limited operational metadata, such as token usage and cost, is retained.

06

Personalized memory

Memory is optional and disabled by default. If you enable Learn from chats, GPT-5.6 Sol may process facts you directly state to identify useful details such as your location, work, skills, interests, preferences, goals, age range, or self-described gender. Cloudflare Workers AI creates semantic embeddings so we can retrieve only a few relevant memories for a request. You can separately disable using memories or learning from chats, and you can view, add, edit, undo, or delete memories from Account. Saved memories are separate from chat history, so deleting a source chat does not delete a saved memory. Deleting your account removes both memories and their semantic index entries.

07

Cookies and local storage

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and protect the Service. Your browser may also store language, theme, and similar preferences locally. You can control cookies through your browser settings, but disabling essential cookies may prevent parts of the Service from working.

08

Retention

We keep information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes in this policy. Active conversations are retained until 180 days of inactivity and archived conversations for up to 24 months of inactivity. Deleted chats are hidden immediately and purged from active systems within 7 days. Application logs are generally retained for 30 days, security audit events for 90 days, and deleted-account personal data is purged or anonymized within 30 days, except where longer retention is required by law or needed to resolve a security, fraud, or legal matter.

09

Your choices and account deletion

You can update your account information in the Account page and delete your chat history in Settings. To permanently delete your account and associated information, sign in, open the Account page, and choose Delete account in the Danger zone. We revoke access immediately and then delete or anonymize remaining personal data on the timetable above. Account deletion cannot be undone. You may also request access, correction, or deletion by contacting support@chatmisr.com.

010

Security and international processing

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including access controls, encryption in transit, and security monitoring. No internet service is completely secure. Our providers may process information in countries other than yours; when they do, we use safeguards designed to protect it as required by applicable law.

011

Children and policy updates

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact support@chatmisr.com. We may update this policy as the Service or applicable law changes. We will post the updated version here and revise the Last updated date; material changes may also be communicated through the Service or by email where appropriate.
